If you're presently working with a broker, we suggest you first ask him or her your question. That person should always be your first contact. But if your broker just doesn't know or doesn't give you an answer in a timely manner, you have the right to get a second opinion. If that turns out to be the case, please let your broker know that you're also consulting with us. Tell him or her that we are not trying to interfere with your relationship; we're only trying to help!
Your broker may in fact appreciate a back up comment.
If you're a buyer or seller not working with a broker, feel free to contact us right away. Sellers not supported by a listing broker (a For Sale by Owner, or FSBO) might especially need our advice. Similarly, buyers not represented by a buyer's broker might also need our help, as they are typically dealing with sellers who are represented by a listing broker.
